The cabin roof visitor mix didn't change a huge amount over the summer. The magpies were definitely in charge, and noisy. Throughout August I began to see more and more squirrels and it's obvious that the back right corner of the cabin is a major squirrel highway... Over the next few weeks I played with the resolution and the clip length because the files were huge, and increased the sensitivity of the motion sensor, as there was a lot of footage of beasties leaving the shot. Settled on 10 second clips at 1280x780P resolution. The night vision is pretty good, as you'll see the juvenile blackbird enjoying its supper below...
After getting a lot of footage from the roof, we were sitting out one evening having a nice firepit, when we heard rustling behind us. I retrieved the camera the following morning and popped it down under the fence, pointing along the fence towards the strawberries. And I was right, we had a hedgehog!
